ABOUT THE CAST

 

Rachel Schwartz works an actor, writer, teacher, and coach. She most recently performed with The Growing Stage (THE BFG) and Actors Shakespeare Company (WINTER’S TALE) in New Jersey. Other regional credits include LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST (Virginia Shakespeare Festival), THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Paper Mill Playhouse), THE CRUCIBLE (Northern Stage), MURDER ON THE NILE (Emelin Theatre), and THE COMEDY OF ERRORS (Colorado Shakespeare Festival). New York credits include LION IN THE STREETS (Abingdon Theater), ALCESTIS (chashama), HAMLET (Theater at Riverside), and ONE WEDNESDAY AT WEST HADDAM HIGH (Manhattan Theater Source). Rachel has taught at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Caldwell College, and currently works as a seminar leader with New Triad for Collaborative Arts. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Columbia University.

Pianist Adam Marks made history as the first American laureate of the prestigious Orleans Competition for music composed since 1900 in Orleans, France. As a soloist, Adam has appeared with the Manchester Symphony Orchestra, the National Repertory Orchestra, and the Brandeis-Wellesley Symphony Orchestra. Other notable venues include the Salle Cortot in Paris, Zankel and Weill Halls at Carnegie, the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, Chicago Cultural Center, and the New World Symphony Stage. Also an active teacher, Marks has presented lectures and masterclasses at Yale, Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, The New School, University of Northern Iowa, Carthage College, and Manchester College. He is the pianist and Director of Artistic Programming for Chicago’s critically acclaimed Fifth House Ensemble. Adam holds degrees from Brandeis University, Manhattan School of Music, and is a candidate for the Ph.D. at NYU. Adam Marks is a Yamaha Artist.
