Kareem is a Canadian-born, New York-based theatre director, playwright, and screenwriter. His work has been seen at theatres across the U.S. and Canada. STRATFORD FESTIVAL

SEPT 25 to OCT 14: I was honored to have been invited to the Stratford Festival's annual Playwright's Retreat. I'll be working on my newest play, Fountains of Youth, which is being supported by a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts. 

The '22-'23 theatre season featured: 

  • World Premieres of three of my plays. 

  • Eight productions of my plays nationwide. 

  • My debut production as a playwright in New York City.

  • My Chicago debut as both director and playwright.
